Challenge 12 - Christmas...

Thank you once again to everyone who took part in last week's challenge
dont forget to pop back later to see who was picked out of the hat by our professional 'people pickers'
Now for this week's challenge. Today, Monday 18th August there are exactly 129 days to Christmas. If you want the latest number of days left you can find them at http://www.auburn.edu/~vestmon/xmas_cnt.htm~vestmon/xmas_cnt.htm. As crafters we need to start making those special Christmas cards. So this week to give everyone some encouragement to get a head start our challenge is Christmas.

You may want to a special card for a special person. It may be that this year you're intending to make beautiful hand made gifts - whatever you decide please let us see your creations by leaving a message and link here. Don't forget to mention Ooh-la-la-creations and link back to us on your blog.
Here are some of the cards we have been making...

This card uses an image from the CD 'Silhouette Magic'. This was such an easy card to do as it uses a large image which is simply mounted on to matching card and then adorned with a ribbon before being mounted on to the base card. A Sakura clear stardust pen was used to add a touch of glitter to the stars.

On this card the image is from 'Passion for Fashion'. A great image for combining with tartan background papers and ribbons.
And more Christmas examples...

Please feel free to use whatever you have in your craft stash to make your creations - we don't mind we just want to see your creativity.
