Romance

Thank you so much to everyone who joined in last week's challenge 'Ribbons' - there were some great cards and scrapbook pages. Wendi, Emma and I really enjoyed popping over to your blogs to see them, especially as Wendi and I were both poorly and really needed cheering up!!

Now the results have not yet come in from our 'Random People Pickers' alias Harry and Maisy yet but as soon as we do the winner of the assortment of ribbons will be announced.

Now for this week's challenge...
Romance

This week our new challenge is a romantic one. We would like to see your ideas for Weddings, Anniversaries or any of your work that has a 'love' feel to it. With all the Summer Weddings coming along there should be lots of work in progress.

My card was made using Romantic Edwin from the Magnolia stamp range. I stamped him on to denim paper to make the realistic jeans look but the rest of him was stamped on to water colour card and coloured using Lyra water colour crayons. The flowers and his trainers were finished off with Sakura Stardust pens to give that touch of sparkle. The card itself is made out of Plasma which is a semi transparent plastic and great to use occasionally as an alternative to acetate.

Hope you will be able to join in this week. As usual please leave a comment with a link to your work and a link back to us on your blog. Really looking forward to looking at all these romantic offerings. Thanks again for looking and hopefully joining in.
