Our new challenge is 'Remember when...' and we would like you to be creative using images from a bygone era. You can use images from the CDs in your collection, stamp your images or maybe use old family photos and do a page for that scrapbook you have been meaning to start for ages. The choice is yours.
This card is a super fast and easy one using an image from the 'Quick Cards' section on the CD 'Passion for Fashion'. There are some really lovely designs in there and if you are really in a hurry you can just print the complete picture out, add it to the front of a card and it's ready to send.
On this example the central image was printed out twice so that it could be matte and layered on to the card using foam pads to give the card more depth and oomph! Three black square brads and a black peel off were also added, but it was still a very, very quick card and ideal for any last minute panics.
Another card with an image from the past is this one using a unmounted rubber stamp from the Stamp Man. Here the vintage car was stamped on to vellum using a Brilliance mixed ink pad of sepia and browns. The vellum was then attached to some vintage designed paper with brads and then a tag was added to complete the card.
This is a beautiful scrapbook page by Wendi. Wendi recently found some pictures of her mum and dad and decided to make a scrapbook / family tree. This is her first page and what a great start to what I'm sure will be a very special album.
Now we would like to see your creations. Please add a comment to this thread with a link to your work so that we can come and take a look. Remember to put a link to our challenge on the posting on your blog so that others can visit and maybe join in.
We are really looking forward to seeing some fantastic art work this week.
