Hello and welcome to a new challenge which is "Bear it All!  This fortnight we would love to see bears in your creation.  Don't feel that it has to be a cute teddy bear card, all bears welcome!  You don't have to use Ooh La La images although we like it when you do and, saying that, there are loads of different types of bears on our CDs.  Enjoy and Good Luck.

Challenge #156

Hello again everyone and Happy Monday to you all.  There's lots of bits and pieces on the blog today so grab a cuppa, sit down and have a read!

Ooh La La Creations have a new CD, Say It With Words, being launched on 9 June at 3pm (GMT) on Create & Craft.  Wendi and Emma have given me a CD, hot off the press, for one lucky person to win.  All crafters who enter this challenge will have their name put into Mr Random Organiser and he will pick someone to win the CD.  Good luck to all!

DT News

Wow, what a difficult job we had choosing our new DT member and many thanks to all who applied.  If you were unsuccessful this time, do not despair, you can apply again when we have our next DT call.

Our new teamie is Avril Ann of Crafting in the Bedroom fame!  Here is a little bit about her.

About Me

Avril Ann Watson

(Crafting in the Bedroom)

I started crafting as a young girl, first with crocheting and knitting, then embroidery and tapestry.  I got into Paper crafting in 2005 after nursing my Dad through cancer and losing him in February of that year.   I started off with a little plastic box, mainly doing decoupage, then got into stamping and latterly CD crafting and Digis.   

I am disabled and have been unable to work for several  years, where upon I found Blogland and Facebook; I have amassed an amazing amount of friends and like-minded people.  This has been my saviour in so many ways.  As my family go about their days I too have something to do, and hope contribute.  I sit in my bedroom with a Sparkly Black Miniature Poodle, Jet, keeping me company all the while.

I am currently on several DTs and enjoy the rapport between team members and challengers alike.

I have been very lucky to have met quite a few of my Facebook and Blog buddies, and hope to increase that as time goes on.

DT News

Unfortunately we have to say goodbye to Ciska.  Her day job has become more time consuming and she doesn't have the same time to craft, so, reluctantly she has decided to step down from her place on the Design Team.  Thank you Ciska for your dedication to our challenge blog and your wonderful designs.  We'll miss you, but wish you well in the future, and hope you'll manage to fit in some craft time and join our challenges when you can.

Now for the good news, Pauline has rejoined us!  Sadly Pauline had to step down from the Design Team mid 2103 when things got a bit hectic at home but luckily for us she now has the time to craft again and asked if she could come back ... the door had always been left open for her to do that.  Welcome back Pauline!

Thank you to everyone who replied to the Design Team Call.  We will be looking at all the blogs during the coming week and the successful candidate will be notified by 4 May and 6 others will be invited to be Guest Designer for a month ... keep watching!
