August 17th saw the launch of the first Liverpool International Music Festival, and given my passion for both my beautiful adopted City and music. I have chosen'Inspired by song' for the challenge theme for the next fortnight. You can create any papercraft items you like as long they have been inspired by a song title or lyric, please tell us on your blog the title of the song your inspiration came from.

So that's our winners announced and just before we get to the theme of the new challenge I have one more little announcement to make.
We recently lost two of our fabulous design team who stepped down due to family commitments so that meant two vacancies.
I am very excited to announce that we now have two brand new DT members starting with us today and they are MICHELLE & ANNE!
Welcome girls - thank you for saying yes to the invite and I wish you a long and happy term here at Ooh La La. 
 I just know you are all going to love their creations.

I love going back in time for crafty inspiration, there's so many eras to choose from, each with their own style. The gorgeous fashion doesn't hurt either and I love using elements of the clothing style to choose my embellishments, such as lace, pearls and patterns. I am very curious to see where this theme will take all of you!
