Challenge #74

Hi!  I can't believe that another two weeks have gone whizzing past and I've been to the warm place and back again!!!  My husband and I had 6 wonderful days in Spain, staying with friends we made when we lived there.  It's nice to be back on home soil again though but I feel the better of our bit of R & R and I hope my mojo feels the same - it's not been put to the test yet!

I was straight back into OLL duties today as I had to pick the Top 3 for challenge #73.  What a fabulous array of designs and such a difficult choice.  Here's what I've picked :

Hi Crafters!  I'm running a bit late with the post as I sat last night watching Dancing on Ice - what a farce - say no more!  When I'd finished watching the skate off I decided to leave the post till the morning when I was bright eyed and bushy tailed.  I woke up this morning to white stuff everywhere ...... again.  Thank goodness I'm off to a sunny place very soon!  Anyway, lots to cover so here we go!

Hi Crafters!

This could be a fairly lengthy post so grab a coffee and pull up a chair! What a stupendous turnout we had last week for our challenge of Bling it On. A very very big thanks from all the DT but also an apology. There were sooooo many entries that we didn't manage to make as many comments as we would have liked but, rest assured, all your hard work is very much appreciated by all of us here at Ooh La La.

Sadly this is going to be Carol's last week on the Design Team. We will all miss her and her wonderful designs. Carol is heavily into parchment craft and last year was due to start work towards a PCA Diploma. Unfortunately that had to be put on hold due to a patch of bad health but now she's on the up and is going for it this year. We all wish her well in her course and look forward to her popping in every now and again. Good Luck xx

Challenge #71

Hi Crafters!  Hope you all had a wonderful New Year.  Unfortunately here in Scotland the snow is still making its presence felt and everyone is heartily sick and tired of it.  Fingers crossed that it disappears very soon and we can look forward to Spring and hopefully a good summer.

Thank you to all who joined in with our last challenge of 2010.  I sincerely hope this year doesn't fly by so quickly.  Still another year another challenge and this time we have something to cheer up the dismal days

We are very lucky to have a new Guest Designer - Tracey of My Creative Place.  Here is what she says about herself

My name is Tracey Rogers. I live in Pembrokeshire with my very understanding partner Tony.  I have been cardmaking for about 2 1/2 years and love all papercrafting, but my first love is stamping and using promarkers.  I am very lucky and currently design for Lexis Creations and Cardmadfairy's Creations but my greatest creation to date is my beautiful daughter Danielle.

I have thoroughly enjoyed crafting these projects using Ooh La La papers and images and have realised how totally versatile digi crafting is.  Happy crafting all.  Tracey x
