As it's a new month again we have a new Guest Designer to introduce to you Mary (aka Big Mamma) of Big Mamma's Stampin House.  Mary is regular challenger with OLL and her work is fantastic.  Here's what she says about herself :

Hi! My name is Mary Sirls but also known as Big Mamma. I was born and raised here in Arizona and love, love, our “dry” heat. I am an Administrative Assistant for a Military Contract Transportation Company. I’ve been a single mom for over 10 years and have 3 wonderful two legged kids & 4 wonderful 4 legged babies. My daughter now lives in Seattle, WA and is starting her career as a teacher; my son is 21 and getting his life started and my baby girl who is 16. The other 4 are Brutis – 85lb lab, Muffin a poodle, Tyson and Gypsy are Chihuahuas .

I have been addicted to stamping since the late 80’s and then started scrap booking about 5 years ago. I just couldn’t live with out three things .... bright cheerful paper, stamps, and my Prisma pencils. I don’t think a week goes by without buying a new stamp or more paper. If I have to describe my style I would say I am whimsical,. I love cartoon stamps, anything that can be colored in. I love to color and the brighter the better. I just started blogging less than 6 months ago and have totally fallen in love with it. There is still so much to learn and I really believe this is the best place to learn, from your peers.

As usual our DT  have produced their brilliant inspiration

Next we have another announcement to make.  Please welcome Susie to our Design Team.  We are all delighted that Susie accepted our invitation to join us - just wait till you see her creations!

This is what Susie says : Hi, my name is Susie.  I'm in my early 40's, Mum to 2 lovely teenage sons Reid & Woody and wife to my best friend Garry.  I have been crafting since 2005 when the bug bit me.  I now run my own design die cut business called Die Cut Dreams.  I love most types of paper crafting, and often wonder what I did with all my time before I started crafting and blogging ...... there just isn't enough hours in the day as I'm totally addicted to all things crafty and couldn't imagine life without craft and my blog.

Challenge #49

Challenge is now closed

Hi everyone! I guess acetate isn't that popular as not many people took up our last challenge. Let's hope this one is more to everyone's taste!

Anyway, before we get onto the challenge, get yourself a cup of coffee and enjoy our post as we've a fair bit to tell you this time.
As we said last time, Dawn has now joined us as a fully fledged member of our Design Team. We welcome her with open arms as her designs are stunning. Here's a little bit about Dawn -
I am 49 years of age and married to my best friend Graham for the last 25 years. I have one daughter who will be 21 in March. I have been crafting ever since my daughter was born starting with cross stitch but rapidly moved on to card making. My style has changed sooo much over the years and has changed even more since I started blogging. I owe my blog life to my bestest crafting buddy Ali, aka Dragonlady who insisted I give blogging a try and boy am I glad she convinced me!! I work full time at the local hospital in Clinical Trials and I love my job. I have two cats called Breezer and Smudge - one's a complete lady and the other is a total tomboy. I love Formula 1, Moto GP and am an avid Manchester United supporter although I do like watching Chelsea play too (my daughter's team). Can't wait for the World Cup and will watch as much as I can although obviously it will have to fit in around my crafting.
Another announcement this time is that Beryl has joined us as our Guest Designer for March and April. Check out her blog to see her wonderful creations. Lucky Beryl has been visiting her daughter over the weekend and they were off to the SECC in Glasgow to the Craft Show. I can't wait to hear what she's bought and to see what she creates with her new stash! Here's a little bio about Beryl -
Hi, my name is Beryl and am delighted to have been invited to be Guest Designer for March and April. I have been card making for almost 7 years now and, like most of us, have been crafting one way or another all my life. One morning I was channel hopping through the Sky shopping channels, which is something I rarely did. I ended up on Create and Craft, there was a man on from The English Stamp Company, and I watched him heat emboss a stamped image with silver embossing powder. I was blown away and thought 'I could do that' and the rest is history. I hope you like my designs during the next couple of months and that you all have fun.
Ooh La La Creations have just launched their new CD. It is a wonderful collection of watercolours by Lorna Archer including scenes of villages, bridges, farm houses, French chateaux, castles, boats and rivers from many places that Lorna has visited throughout England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and France.

There are 850+ printable sheets, costs £15.99 and p&p is free

Please take a few minutes to browse through PictureTrail on the sidebar to see some of the stunning designs made using the new CD

You still with me? good, now we can get onto the challenge for this fortnight :

Challenge #49 - Anything Goes + chance to win

Wendi & Emma (OLL's owners) have kindly donated a £20 gift voucher and by taking part in this challenge you will automatically be entered into the draw and one lucky winner will be picked at random by the random picky thing. Entries close at 6pm GMT on Sunday 21 March and the winner will be announced when the next challenge is posted.

To join in the challenge, please post your design onto your blog with a link to our challenge and leave a comment on our blog with a link directly to your work. If you don't have a blog that's not a problem, just email your project to the address at the top of the page. You can combine our challenge with any others you wish. It's not essential that you use an OLL product on your creation but of course we are delighted if you do. If you don't have any OLL designs and would like to try them out, check out the March freebies. Good luck and enjoy crafting!
